Terra Cota Tiles
Terra Cotta tiles (aka Saltillo tiles) are handmade clay tiles. The clay is hand-packed into wooden molds and left in the sun to dry.
With them being baked in the sun and hand molded, they have a wide variation of coloring and can vary slightly in thickness. It is rare, but sometimes they feature the occasional wildlife footprint. Once dried these tiles are then glazed/sealed in the factory. Raw options are available in certain formats but are not recommended as they are very porous and still require sealing.
